KSS operates as an architecture and research studio with roots in both Paris and Beirut. Practicing in both MENA and Europe, the studio delves into various aspects of architectural discourse.

Its areas of interest encompass temporality, economic dynamics, digital precision, and the intricate intersection of aesthetics, cultures and politics.

Karim Saleh is a French-Lebanese architect born in Beirut, Lebanon.
He received his Masters of Architecture (M.Arch II) from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) and his Bachelor's degree (B.Arch) from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).

As well as founding KSS , he has an ongoing collaboration with Alexis Rosenthal under the architectural design group “ BOWSR “.

During his time in the United Sates, he spent three years practicing in Los Angeles at Morphosis Architects under Pritzker Prize Laureate Thom Mayne. In this role, he served as a project designer on large-scale institutional and commercial projects, such as the Yangtze River International Conference Center in China and several large masterplans in the Middle East.

After a decade in the US, Saleh relocated to Paris, where he currently works at BRUTHER, a French architecture firm located in the 20th arrondissement.

His work has been exhibited at the Harvard Art Festival, A+D Museum and several SCI-Arc annual spring shows.
